Chunk Bites #01

Welcome to the first edition of Chunk Bites. This is our place to ramble, admire, review, and link you to our favourite things.
NodeFest 2019 was just a couple of days now and we’re glowing from how it went. Ben Marriott was a star with wonderful inspiration, Jason Poley capturing our attention with a strong and powerful talk about mental wellbeing and Cameron Gough making us drool over character animation. You can be sure we’re going to look into using markers to trigger animation in the very short future, thanks to Cam.
We also had a wonderful response from our recently released Resources page. It really warms our hearts to hear it helping people. We’re discovering that personal projects don’t necessarily have to be creative to count.
A Tasty Colour Palette:

Something to Drool Over:
This new piece from Ordinary Folk really goes above and beyond anything we’ve seen, just exceptional.
Top Twitter Tip:
Our top Twitter tip comes from Chris Zachary who has solved an issue that has plagued thousands of After Effects users that involves the old eyedropper tool.

To use the eyedropper tool outside AE, hover and press Enter - don't click. Boom.

Current Chunk Tunes:
A new discovery has been Eliza Shaddad who’s brilliant voice soars over some fantastic instrumentals. Her 2018 album, Future, is currently on repeat and our favourites are Just Goes to Show, My Body and Daydreaming.
